February Etiquette Classes!

The Watermark will be hosting several etiquette classes this February for children 6-11 years old. The classes will go over the true meaning of good etiquette, how to behave at the table, and general manners appropriate to this age group. Children will leave the class with confidence in how to handle themselves.

Classes will taught at both Watermark locations by our etiquette expert, Deborah Godkin. Classes are $30 and are limited to 8 students. Sign your child up today!

*All classes are an hour and a half long.*

a little card can make a big difference

So I received a card from a friend the other day. It wasn’t my birthday. It wasn’t Christmas. It was a genuine out-of-the-blue, no-reason-but-to-make-me-smile kind of card. And truthfully, I think those are the best kind. Not much was said inside of it, but the gesture itself spoke volumes.

It reminded me that keeping friendships alive takes effort. Especially when you live far from so many loved ones. But it’s little things like sending a card for no reason that makes it easy to stay friends over the miles/years/life in general.

Who would you send a card to today? What would you write in it? Just like my friend, even if you don’t write a lot, the message is sure to come through loud and clear. ♥

Stuck on where to start?

Don’t freak, ok?

Yes, yes, yes. We know it’s only September. And yes, we agree that Christmas/Hanukkah/other winter holidays belong just there. In WINTER. Namely, December. But hear us out.

Not only do all the good holiday sales actually start in September, but there is also another huge reason to celebrate it this month… IT’S OUR BIRTHDAY! And we’ll have Christmas sales if we want to!
To honor 8 whole years of being in business in our Lowry location and our FIRST year of being The Watermark in our Evergreen store, we are taking 15 percent off of ALL custom orders. That means all the cool stuff we usually have; like plates, serving trays, ice buckets, cutting boards, napkins, guest towels, water bottles, clipboards, stationery, coasters and luggage tags will have a whopping 15% off when you get it customized with a name, initial or monogram.

End-of-the-Summer-SIDEWALK-SALE! (Flows nicely, doesn’t it?)

Woot! Kids are back in school! The aspens will be turning delicious shades of yellow! The ski season is beckoning from afar and it is totally permissible to start drooling over the thought of pumpkin spiced lattes (from one of our local coffee houses of course, have you tried Espresso Evergreen or A Latte More Than Coffee? You’ll never go to S*Bucks again.)

What we’re TRYING to say here is… summer is almost over! And for this summer girl at least, that leaves me with a hint of sadness… But then I realize that the “end of the summer” means End-Of-The-Summer SALES are upon us! And the biggest and best is at none other than your Evergreen Watermark! We are getting ready to pack our shelves with darling trinkets and gifts for the fall and winter season. But there is just one problem: we need to get rid of the last bit of summer stuff first. So we are having a blowout sale on Tuesday, August 30th from 10:00 am until 6:00 pm where EVERYTHING that is outside on the sidewalk or in our tent is 50% off. Go ahead, I’ll wait here while you go back and make sure you read that right. Yep, 50% off people. I wouldn’t lie to you. Not to mention, if you can get your mitts on one of our coupons… you can get an item for 60% off. (Five coupons = five sale items at 60% off. Redic, right? I know.)

So now the question is… where can you get a coupon? Well all you have to do is ask, silly! In fact, I’ll list out the ways right here.

1. Go to our Facebook page and like us so you can print one coupon per day up until the sale.

2. Stop in our store and ask for a coupon. (That one is easy!)

3. Look for our coupon in the Canyon Courier on Wednesday, August 24.
